EN 10025-2 S355J2+N grade steel is a low-carbon basic structural steel with good impact resistance. It is known for high durability, good forming properties and corrosion resistance.

Mechanical Properties of Steel S355J2+N
- Tensile Strength is between 470 – 630 MPa, depending on thickness
- Minimum Yield Strength is 355 N/mm, depending on thickness.
- Good impact resistance – Charpy impact tests at -20°C
- Good corrosion resistance

Welding
Steel grade S355J2+N has good weldability both with and without heating.
